TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE IN KARACHI UNIVERSITY
I still remember
my first day in Karachi
University . My heart was
pounding with tons of question in my mind regarding my career and of course
regarding my university life too. I was worried thinking, if I would be able to
manage my studies in university or not. Egging on myself, I entered the gate. At
glance, everything seems to be so challenging.
And then, it was later, when I realized that I
was wrong. All my stress was relieved as soon as I entered their and got to
know about the university and students. Karachi University
is different in many aspects like; In KU asking for a lift is very common
within the premises. I mean it’s really generous that a stranger is dropping
you at some distance and you have short time interactions as well. In fact, it
is a routine practice in KU.
KU Syllabus means the course outline which is the
target that has to be achieved. Teacher seems mysterious. Some are solved means
really kind enough with the students but other remains always mystery. The
results are always beyond expectations more shocking then surprising J .
The most interesting part of last two years experience was to
hangout with friends. Usually bunking classes and spending more time at
cafeteria. My object was to explore new canteens, eating at dhaabas and sitting
on the floor; donkey cart rides and cheering for our department’s cricket team.
In short I did everything accept study, seriously.
It would be insane if one is talking about KU and have not mentioned the famous P.G. It is Food Street . But one thing that bother me the most about the students is that why they are not throwing the wrappers in the dustbin? Don’t they know why dustbins are made?
I am proud of myself that I am a part of this university, and I always will be!

It is interesting that while you have issues with those not knowing what dustbins are made for, but feel great about yourself not knowing what classrooms are made for !!!
