If this world is a Jungle, Which animal Pakistan is?

This was the ‘Question’ our respected teacher exploded over our heads, when he asked us to give him a topic for our next blog and no one responded. From that day till now when I am writing it, almost all the species of animals have gone through my mind, hoping to find the one that best suits our country. Hey, wait? Do we have to compare Pakistan with an animal? or an animal with Pakistan? Not sure!

When it comes to find such animal, I think Pakistan is that newly-found specie of animal that can disguise itself in any animal it wants to, according to the situation and its surroundings. A Smart-animal that can camouflage in any specie for its survival on the specifications of others.

Like sometimes it becomes an Ostrich, sticking his head into the sand when it feels any threat, assuming that if it can’t see the problem, the problem can’t see it either, (The ostrich theory, yes).  Pakistan also tries to ignore the problem at first, rather than trying to solve it, and find a way out, whether it is related to our law and order, internal security, Illiteracy, corruption whatsoever. It shuts its eyes to make its problems become oblivious.

Pakistan having a body like that of an elephant, with a huge population still lacks the power to dominate. Its over-weight is a big problem for itself too, which makes it lazy to move even for its own sake.
Then sometimes it behaves like a Dugdugi-Monkey that dances to the beat of it, played by “International Thing Tanks” and happily making fun of itself in hopes to quench its thirst.

And at times, it becomes way too much over confident, like that Rabbit on a race with that turtle. It often happens in series of cricket matches Pakistan plays, especially against India. In which, Pakistan having the best bowlers and batmen, still couldn't beat India. Same like that happened in the race of the Rabbit and turtle, in which a rabbit thinking that turtle can’t run faster than him, decides to take a nap for a while during the race. When it wakes up, it finds that turtle has won it already.

So these are some of the animals I think, can relate to Pakistan. But all in all, we can make it behave in a Human-way if we ourselves stop behaving like an animal. This is all our fault!

  1. The ostrich theory is so true when related to Pakistan and funny at the same time.
