MY EARLIEST MEMORY
Last weekend, Me and my cousin went for ‘shopping’, although I hate
shopping, strange to digest na? a girl that hates shopping. But for some genuine
reason I had to go for shopping. I was just roaming around, looking for many
things and still not buying any thing just touching this and that. But
throughout the way I noticed few people really interested to buy something
while rest are having fun and did there only favorite job honestly ‘eye to eye’
you know what I mean!
I am not criticising only one gender but all of them. At a point, I am
thinking I am at ‘eye to eye’ competition; almost every one is dying to take
part in it and wants to win. Even I have observed a man whistled a lady and
also passed comments. This is not only happening at shopping malls, but also at
streets, bus stops etc.
So, I was at shopping mall, my cousin told me that a guy is following us, I
didn’t notice that but later I found she is right. At First, I ignored but he
constantly glued his eyes and kept following us. I tensed as current situation
of
Karachi is
unsafe and at the same time I didn't want to create any fuss so I decided to go
back to home.
A guy came in hurry and says excuse me (ap ka pouch gir
gaya tha), I check my pouch everything is
their, and I looked at him
silently, I thanked him and rushed away.
After reaching home, I relaxed a bit and laughed at my own silly thoughts. So
His eye to eye was for a purpose. At least he was being honest, but the thing
that came to my mind was negative just because it happens everywhere around us.
Every so often.
