MY EARLIEST CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

I don’t particularly have a good memory but I do seem to remember all the weirdest and unimportant things, which I can clearly live without having it engraved in my mind.
Some old photos and mementos seem to jog my memory, too. Looking at it I can go back in time and relive the memories as it happened. I wish my memory was that good when it came to important stuff like school/college/university. I often backtrack and think about what it was like when I was little. I sometimes have flashbacks while recalling old memories and sometimes in my dreams. However, some are random fragments and some are just plain weird.

I don’t remember how old I was exactly, but I’m assuming I was around four. I saw this dream where someone ate a bite out of my ice cream. So, I go crying to my mother and show her my dripping ice cream while pointing at the missing bite.  At that moment, I found myself in bed, staring at mom’s sleeping figure with my tear-stained face and finger pointing at blank space where there was suppose to be an ice cream. That was most probably my first nightmare.

I love babies! (That was random, I know). I love how they are so carefree and do pointless things all day. I was a baby once, too.  The earliest memory as a baby that remotely makes some sense was when I was around one or two. I didn't start talking at the time.

I was in someone’s arms (mom, probably) and my phuphow was leaning closer to probably take me in hers. What I clearly remember is that instead of going in her embrace I grabbed tiny fist full of her hair and started tugging on it.
I inquired about the said incident and phuphow confirmed it and claimed that it was quite painful since I wasn't letting go. After some struggle phuphow managed to escape my tiny but strong hold of her hair.

There are many more incidents but that would take ages to write and some of them are a tad bit too embarrassing. This is why I will stop here. Till then:

That’s all folks!
