Karachi Literature Festival 2014

“Different idea and assessments emerged in every session. In a gathering of such minds, the quality of discourse is sure to be high,” said by ghazi salaudin in The News.

Karachi literature festival and Islamabad literature festival both are most successful literature festival across the country. KLF was happing again this year at Beech Luxury Hotel. This annual festival have free and  open to every one.

Literature festival is organized by Oxford university press. Oxford university press is a department of the university of Oxford and objective of excellence in research, scholarship and education by publishing worldwide.

The speakers are outstanding and sessions are very knowledgeable for audiences. I attend the session of Ali Sethi. He was studied at Harvard university and write two books. The session was “Literature and Music in Pakistan.” We was live in Lahore.

And the launching for the book of Ali sethi title “The Scatter is too Great.”  This was the second book of Ali. Sarmad Khusa has been attending another interesting debate.

However, the first kind of festival that bring together and celebrates authors writing in diverse languages, and traditions. They feature debates, discussion, lectures, a book fair book launching and more.
